The Warriors star appeared to be in pain following a scrum with Celtics big man Al Horford in the fourth quarter.
"I didn't say that. The injury didn't force him out of the game. I took him out down 14 with two minutes left because we weren't going to catch up. We'll know more tomorrow."
Curry said after the game that he believed it was a repeat of the foot sprain he suffered against the Celtics in March, calling it the"same thing I did against Boston in the regular season but not as bad.” He told reporters that he plans to play Game 4 in Boston, which is Friday. When Curry injured his foot in the regular season, he missed a month's worth of games, only returning for the beginning of the Nuggets series and even then in a limited role off the bench.
"I'm gonna be alright," Curry said."I got caught underneath Al. Obviously, will be in some pain, but I'll be alright. See how I feel tomorrow and get ready for Friday."
