Trader Joe's opens its first Harrisburg area store at 8 a.m. on March 31.

Workers were busy Wednesday putting finishing touches inside the 12,500 square-foot store at 3545 Gettysburg Road in Lower Allen Township. They stocked shelves ahead of the opening, which is expected to draw a flood of shoppers.The store, No. 569 in the chain, boasts all of the Trader Joe’s hallmarks - crew members wearing Hawaiian shirts, on-trend products with quirky labels and an upbeat vibe. A “Welcome to Your Camp Hill Trader Joe’s” sign displayed inside the entrance greets shoppers.
Shoppers will also encounter colorful pictures highlighting regional landmarks including the Market Street bridge, Capitol building, Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat and Broad Street Market.
