couples finding love in the most unlikely of partners, the spotlight has now shifted toward Penelope and Colin.'s upcoming third season — which will center around friends to possible lovers, Penelope Featherington, played by Nicola Coughlan, and Colin Bridgerton, played by Luke Newton. Netflix is officially deeming the third installment a “Polin season.”t in Brazil on Saturday to give a glimpse into the world of corsets, gossip, and Lady Whistledown.
From the looks of the photos, Penelope has evolved from a timid young girl hiding in the shadows to a more confident young lady. CoughlanAs for Colin, the wayward character who was on a quest to find himself in season 2 returned back to England a leading man. It's unclear if or how these two will come together, especially considering Penelope overheard Colin saying he would never court her.
“Dearest gentlereader, we have been apart for far too long. At last, London’s smart set has made its return,” Coughlan read. “And so too has this author. As the season begins, the question on everyone’s mind is, of course, which newly minted debutante will shine the brightest?” Aside from the Bridgerton siblings making their return to the ton, the third season will also feature three new characters to add to the show.
