WASHINGTON—Senate Democrats scheduled Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearings to begin less than three weeks from now, aiming to confirm her through the Senate by early April before the chamber breaks for an Easter recess.
Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin said that her hearings would begin on Monday, March 21, and span a total of four days, following a standard format. The first day would be set aside for opening statements from lawmakers and Judge Jackson, with two days for questions and a final day of testimony from outside witnesses.
