As Dr. Fauci said Sunday the U.S. is about 3 weeks from seeing omicron's peak, some Bay Area health experts believe most of the Bay Area has already peaked, bringing us closer to a possibility of an endemic.

Some speculate that the omicron variant could mean the beginning of the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here's a look inside hospitals and labs trying to answer that question.

The Chief of the Emergency Department at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital is cautiously optimistic. Dr. Chris Colwell:"Today it went up just a little bit, kind of over the weekend.
