Grassroots Conservative leaders have dismissed Boris Johnson’s claims that he was “forced out” of Parliament by plotters and called on the party to move on from the “psychodrama” surrounding him joeduggan1 reports

“I certainly think it does not make sense to suggest that this is some sort of Remainer-plot given that the senior Conservative members of the committee, which has a Conservative majority, are arch-Brexiteers.to move on. It’s obviously important to the British people that we move on from the psychodrama and start sorting out the things that they’re worried about, like the cost of living, like getting the economy going.
