Simon Jordan: Conor Benn must face British Boxing Board of Control investigation over positive drugs tests
Simon Jordan has picked apart Conor Benn’s interview with Piers Morgan in which he discussed his positive drugs tests.
They ruled that there is ‘no conclusive evidence’ he intentionally or knowingly ingested clomifene and accepted Benn’s ‘highly-elevated consumption of eggs’ as a ‘reasonable explanation’ for positive tests.which aired on Monday night that he believes lab errors or contaminations are responsible for his positive test results – a theory the WBC dismissed in their ruling. There is yet to be any decision from the BBBofC/UKAD investigation and Benn is still refusing to co-operate with them.
“First of all for Conor, he wasn’t exonerated by the WBC. They don’t have a position to exonerate him, they’re not the governing body of the sport, they’re a sanctioning body, so what they say is almost irrelevant.
