Shawn T. Jason, 47, is among 2 recent shooting suspects who haven't been arrested. The other one, Jerry K. Foster, 42, shot 4 people downtown, police say.
after they say he shot a man, woman and four-year-old girl on Sept. 9 over a dispute about reserving a parking space along the public street in the 1800 block of North Street where they all lived.
All of the victims survived. Police surrounded Jason’s home for several hours after he was reported fleeing inside it. But a tactical team eventually realized the home was empty. He should be considered armed and dangerous, police say, noting he may also be desperate, considering he is facing the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison.
Jerry K. Foster, 42, is charged with four counts of attempted homicide for Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, shootings on Cranberry Street in Harrisburg. Cameras recorded the BMW stopping, and its occupants interacting with a group of people on the 200 block of Cranberry Street. As the BMW continues east on Cranberry, the driver pulls out a gun and starts shooting out the window, the affidavit said.
