Planning permission has been granted to convert a guest house into a care home.
It was first turned into a five-bedroom hotel in 1989 and is known as Orchard House Guest House.But following an application submitted to Watford Borough Council, its future use looks to be a care home.A proposed floor plan published in the planning portal by agent London Consultants Ltd indicates the care home will include seven bedrooms, as well as a kitchen and dining area, living room, and office.
The council had no concerns that converting the building to a care home would worsen traffic or parking.The case officer also said the plans would cause no increase in noise and disturbance compared to the existing guest house.Have you got a story for us? You can
