Rains returned to Progressive Field on Thursday to further delay the game that simply seems like it will not end.

Officials decided to resume play at 12:10 p.m. with L.A. holding a two-run lead after two innings.Thursday marked the first suspended game for Cleveland since a 4-3 win against Kansas City in 2014 that began on Aug. 21 at Kauffman Stadium and was completed Sept. 22 that year when the two clubs met at Progressive Field.
The last game suspended in Cleveland took place June 24-25 of 1994 against the Yankees. Cleveland is 3-2 all-time in suspended games that were resumed.Terry Francona hints that this
