.grensonshoes launches podcast TimTalks
, broadcasting a series of interviews and stories from interesting people in the world of footwear and fashion.
The podcast is hosted by Tim Little, the owner and creative director of Grenson. Little previously worked in advertising, but left in 1996 to pursue a passion for shoe design. Grenson was founded in 1866 by William Green in Northamptonshire. Originally named William Green and Sons, the company shortened its name to Grenson in 1913 to appear more fashionable and modern. Tim Little took over the company in 2010, opening a second store in East London and setting up an ecommerce website. The brand now has six stores, including one in New York City, and is stocked by Mr Porter, Farfetch, and Matches Fashion.
In the first episode of Tim’s Talks, Tim interviews Henry Holland about his fashion label and collaboration with Lulu Guinness; The second episode sees him talking with Thomas turner about his book, ‘A Sports Shoe, a History of Field to Fashion’; and in the third episode he interviews Catherine Hayward, fashion director of Esquire UK.
