Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood marked his first start for loan club Getafe by grabbing an assist in their 2-2 draw away at Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday evening.
Greenwood, who was suspended by United back in January 2022 amid allegations of attempted rape, assault and coercive control, completed the full 90 minutes. His first two appearances for Getafe had both come via the bench. Having marked his first start for Getafe by grabbing an assist, he will be hoping to build on that in the coming weeks. He will be targeting a second successive start when Jose Bordalas' side, who are currently 10th in La Liga, face Villarreal on Saturday lunchtime.
