There were no women or children under 12 among the survivors brought to shore from a shipwreck that is believed to have claimed the lives of hundreds of migrants off the coast of Greece, a volunteer has said
Witness accounts suggest there were between 400 and 750 people on the trawler. Most of the people were from Egypt, Syria and Pakistan, Greek government officials have said. According to an initial investigation by police in Pakistan, 800 people were on board.
