A schedule shake-up will see The Great British Bake Off taken off our screens, with viewers of the popular Channel 4 baking show heading to social media to share their annoyance
Fans of The Great British Bake Off will have to wait an extra day to get their fix from the famous tent.
In Bake Off's place, England's football match against Italy in the Euro 2024 qualifier will air from 7pm. The show will eventually return to our screens with Chocolate Week, and the Signature Challenge will see the bakers make a torte. The remaining contestants will then take on a tricky Technical Challenge involving cheesecakes, before the Showstopper Challenge tests their ability to construct a chocolate box.
Last week's show saw Abbi sent home, after she struggled to impress during the competition's famous Bread Week. Talking about her experience upon finding out she'd be leaving the programme, the baker from Cumbria said, "I knew it was coming and you know what I am really proud of myself. I never thought I would be able to do this, it has given me such a massive confidence boost and I have met such amazing people.
