The Fritz's Adventure park being built in The Colony's Grandscape project will offer indoor and outdoor entertainment options.
The Colony’s city council approved site plans for the project earlier this year.
The adventure park will include “over 100,000 square feet of explorable space for all ages,” according to the city filing. “This includes the indoor/outdoor treetops, which feature obstacles, including zip lines, suspension bridges, free falls and a crow’s nest with a view for miles. “Other activities include a multi-story ropes course, underground tunnels, secret passageways, laser mazes, Fritz’s City Wall , rappelling, giant treehouses, multi-story slides, warped walls and more,” according to the project descriptions. “Fritz’s Café overlooks the whole facility from the second floor where the whole family can take a break and recharge for more fun, and parents can stick around to relax and watch their children continue to play.
The original Fritz’s Adventure park opened in 2016 in Branson, Mo., where the entertainment company is based. The attraction drew almost a half million visitors in the first two years. Tickets to the Branson park start at about $25.
