Grammys 2022: Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins honored with touching video tribute following his death at 50
Hawkins was just 50 years old when he passed away in Bogota, Colombia on March 25 following a Foo Fighters concert. The beloved rock group was originally slated to perform during the Grammys on Sunday evening, though they bowed out after the drummer passed.
In lieu of their performance, the Recording Academy put together a touching video tribute of Hawkins from his time with the group. Billie Eilish also honored Hawkins by wearing a t-shirt with his image during her performance of Happier Than Ever.
