MPs from across House call for action but education minister says heads have all the advice they need

Janet Daby, Labour MP for Lewisham East, called for better data collection on racism, and SNP and DUP MP’s joined the call for the government to act.to record and report racist bullying incidents, insisting that headteachers already had enough guidance and were regulated by Ofsted. Ms Daby said: “Racism has a huge emotional impact in situations where [Black children] are being discriminated against, and it affects them psychologically and can affect their ability to learn.”
