During an appearance on 'Fox & Friends,' Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy accused Democrats and Schiff of 'playing politics' with Iran instead of celebrating the action Trump took last Friday when he ordered the drone attack on Soleimani.
Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy blamed intelligence committee chairman Adam Schiff for"not protecting us" and forcing President Donald Trump to order the death of Iran general Qasem Soleimani., McCarthy accused Democrats and Schiff of"playing politics" with Iran instead of celebrating the action Trump took last Friday when he ordered the drone attack on Soleimani.
"You know what? He's the chairman of the Intel committee," McCarthy said of Schiff."Maybe had he spent the last year working on trying to protect us from what was happening in Iran - from the bombing of the tankers, Saudi Arabia taking down our drone - instead of taking that committee and making it about impeachment he would have never made that comment."
On Monday, Schiff tweeted his latest remark accusing the Trump administration of overstepping their authority in ordering the strike against Soleimani.
