- It's Good Friday. Christians around the world are marking the day Jesus was crucified. Hundreds gathered for a special procession over the As CBS2's Andrea Grymes reports, it started with somber music to commemorate the most somber day on the Christian calendar.
"It's trying to imitate, recreate the steps of Jesus in those final hours," said Bishop Robert Brennan. A public display of faith and an emotional journey for the faithful, like Maria Lanzetta of Bayside, Queens. "It's very overwhelming, because some of my friends were crying on the walk because it's like very touching," said high school student Anthony DeCastro. "Our faith is, like, very strong and we're thinking of joining the seminary. So it's very, very big, very huge for us," he said.
