'Goliath' star Beau Bridges on how he almost got his father, Lloyd Bridges, fired from the movie 'High Noon'
The actor recalls his early years in film, and how he learned the value of passion and respect from his famous fatherBeau Bridges, 77, is a film and TV actor who has appeared in more than 75 films, including “The Fabulous Baker Boys” with his brother, Jeff Bridges. He stars in Showtime’s “Homeland” and in Amazon’s “Goliath” . He spoke with Marc Myers.
In 1951, when I was 9, I visited the Sonora, Calif., set of “High Noon.” My father, Lloyd Bridges, played the film’s deputy marshal opposite Gary Cooper.
