Gogglebox's Sophie and Pete cause fans to scream 'no' and demand change with Instagram post
Gogglebox fans screamed “no”, threatened to stop watching the programme and joked that their night had been “ruined” after star Sophie Sandiford shared a snap to Instagram of herself and her brother Pete. The pair are fan favourites on the Channel 4 show but caused controversy with a small detail in the picture.
Pete was shown sat in a yellow armchair, pretending to flex his muscles. Meanwhile Sophie, sat on the sofa, pointed at the camera.But fans were shocked to see that the siblings had swapped seats from their normal positions, the Manchester Evening News reports. It led to hundreds of comments from viewers, many of whom called for the pair to revert to where they normally sit.
Adam also spotted the issue, writing: “Something is wrong with this photo and worked it out straight away. You're in the wrong seats!” And David joked: “You can't just swap seats and expect us to know who is who.” “No, no, no! Back you go!” littlemrsc said. And Bryan raged: “Nah this isn't ok, swap seats immediately! This is as wrong as people saying chips and fish & dec & ant.”
