A federal judge in Camden, N.J., on Thursday sentenced McClure, 32, who goes by Kate, to one year and one day behind bars, followed by three years of supervised release, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. She also must pay $400,000 in restitution.Along with her former boyfriend, Mark D’Amico, and the homeless man, Johnny Bobbitt Jr., McClure gained national attention in late 2017 for the heartwarming story of a down-on-his-luck good Samaritan who rescued McClure.
