set up for a family who lost their son following Friday's Swift concert in Houston has well surpassed its goal. The campaign has so far raised nearly $110,000, surpassing a goal of $75,000. According to the campaign, the money will go toward flowers and funeral costs for Jacob Lewis, who was struck by an allegedly drunken driver.
"Jacob Lewis and his sister were returning from Taylor Swift's Era Tour concert in Houston," Miguel Andrade, who organized the campaign for the family, wrote."On the way home, their car stalled. Jacob at once started to push the car when he was tragically hit and killed by a drunk driver."and part of her social media handles.
The family is also a large part of the Pokémon gaming community in Houston, according to the campaign, with Lewis spending many years playing the trading card game in the Houston area and competing at the World Championships, the highest-level event, for many years."Because of this, he has inspired many others to strive for more," Andrade wrote."It hurts us to see him suffer such a loss.
