Richard Madeley has been slammed by viewers for 'trying to trip up' Gary Lineker during a segment of Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.
Lineker 'stepped back' from presenting MOTD in March due to a row over impartiality. The question did not go down well with Lineker who immediately corrected the presenter. He said: "Well, already you've misrepresented what I said, and that's what happened because of the Daily Mail headline. I didn't compare the government to the Nazis..." @sharon40971181 said: "Richard stop!! Gary pull your mic and walk off." While @marian_mc54 tweeted: "Wow go Gary! Madeley trying to trip you up!
