Good Morning Britain viewers were treated to an unusual debate this morning, as two guests discussed how often they wash their bedsheets. But presenters, Ed Balls and Susanna Reid, were horrified when they learned that some single men admit to only washing their bed sheets every four months.
But Narinder Kaur disagreed, saying that she tends to wash her bedsheets once a month in the winter and that anything more than that is overkill. She said: "Well how dirty are people? We're not pigs rolling around in mud, we shower. But Lynsey said: "If you're changing your bedding once a month, you are going to need at least a 60 degree wash. I do mine once a week at 20 degrees and add white vinegar to the wash. You can cut your energy uses in other ways, the bed is important."
