The midfielder is now in the English Championship after time spent at Ibrox.

Glen Kamara says he blocked out social media noise long ago as he took coy dig at a summer of transfer speculation following his move from Rangers to Leeds United.

The midfielder was linked with a whole host of clubs as Michael Beale confirmed an exit was on the cards for the Finnish international. He penned a deal with Daniel Farke's men in the final week of the window and made his debut last weekend in a clash against Sheffield Wednesday, and is now with Finland for international duty.

Finnish outlet HS state "you could get such a picture that some fans no longer appreciated Kamara in Rangers recently" and the midfielder himself say it's not something that bothers him anymore. And the swirling rumours around his name are something he can explain with a simple reason. The former Rangers man said: "The same people who say you're the best player in the world will say the next week you're a lousy player.

"I stopped reading social media years ago. It does not bother me. It just seems to be part of the game. Sometimes things take a long time in life, and patience is the key word then. You shouldn't believe everything you read. To be honest, a move like that is not as complicated as people sometimes think. Of course it can be that sometimes. When this came to my attention , I was very interested in it. It's a huge club with a great history, good coaches and good players.
