The west end was picked out in 20th in Time Out list of the coolest neighbourhoods in the world to visit right now, beating out spots in places like Berlin, Paris and London.
One of Glasgow's most popular neighbourhoods has just been named one of the world's coolest - finishing above spots in places like Seoul, Miami and San Francisco. Time Out has released its sixth annual list of the world’s coolest neighbourhoods, and Glasgow, is named at number 20 with the only other Scottish entry, Leith which placed in 16th.
Each year Time Out asks its international audience to nominate the areas of cities which have the best mix of cutting-edge culture, affordable great food and drink, street life, nightlife and community. Laureles in Medellín took the top spot this year for its authentic balance of laid back vibes alongside some of the best nightlife in the city, while maintaining a traditional Colombian feel.
