Glasgow's Lorraine Kelly has lashed out at scammers who continue to use her face to falsely promote their weight loss products.
During Lorraine's programme preview on Wednesday, she joined Susanna Reid and Martin via video link when Susanna asked the Glasgow-born star if she'd ever experienced anything similar. Pleading with people at home to be careful and stay safe she added: "Please, please, please do not fall for the scammers!
She said: "Mine is 'keto pills', I get people contacting me saying 'I'm desperate to lose weight do these keto pills work?'At the start of the year, Lorraine opened up about her choice to continue a healthier lifestyle as she urged people to 'cut themselves some slack'. She told The Independent: “I think it’s crazy in January all of a sudden to say, ‘I’m going for a 10-mile run’, or going on a stupid, faddy diet, because they don’t work, we know diets don’t work – you will lose weight, but you’ll just put it all back on again because it’s not sustainable."
