An eight year-old boy was hit by a car on Garrioch Road near Stratford Street in Glasgow at around 12.05pm yesterday afternoon .
Police and emergency services were in attendance and the boy was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.READ MORE: 'Incompetent' Glasgow primary school teacher struck off after complaints from parents A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a crash involving a car and an eight-year-old male pedestrian on Garrioch Road near Stratford Street, Glasgow.
“The boy was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, where medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
