Collete Boyle left Brian Coulston with serious injuries, including fractures to his shoulder and ribs as well as bruising to his ankle, following the incident in Bellahouston last April.

Boyle appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court where she pleaded guilty to a charge of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. The motor was wedged against a lamp post.Prosecutor Darren Harty said: "Mr Coulston placed his hands on the bonnet of the vehicle and attempted to move it from the lamp post. The vehicle accelerated forward towards Mr Coulston, who attempted to dive over the bonnet, so as not to be pulled under the vehicle.
