Glasgow Life has temporarily closed two of its buildings including a library and sports hall after dangerous RAAC was discovered to have been used during their construction.
Inspections of buildings from the period when reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete was used in construction has revealed that Cardonald Library, the Outdoor Hall at Scotstoun and Drumchapel Pool all contain the material.

A spokesperson said: “We are in the process of carrying out inspections of buildings from the period when RAAC was used in construction. A review of plans shows the presence of RAAC at Cardonald Library and in the Outdoor Hall at Scotstoun.
