He proposed Glasgow Life museums as spaces that could offer some respite from the soaring temperatures.
Blair Anderson, Scottish Greens councillor for Partick East/Kelvindale, has suggested people struggling to cool down in their homes should flock to Glasgow’s temperature-controlled venues.
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Gallery of Modern Art, the Riverside Museum and The Burrell Collection are just some of the spots folk can visit to cool down. The museums will be operating at standard capacity and Glasgow Life do not suggest browsing the galleries take the place of other precautions during the heatwave.
