READ MORE: Family of Dumbarton pensioner, 85, who died after being hit by car 'feel for driver' involvedCarly, who lives in Mosspark, said: "I felt a thud and a loud bang which was my tyre bursting. It threw my steering to the right and onto the gravel so when I put my foot on the brake my car just kept going into the barriers."I was concerned about my children and my own safety. I was trying to make sure that if anything was to happen then there was going to be minimal injury.
Carly admits that the last few weeks have been difficult 'doing normal day-to-day things' without a car. She is now urging Glasgow City Council to repair the fault which she says she reported on the day of the crash. The council has apologised to the family and said that the pothole on Renfrew Road has now been repaired.
