The Lane, located on Paisley's famous Shuttle Street, is being leased after being in the Codona family for over two decades.In an emotional social media post John said he was handing over the popular business to a new family, he wrote: "In a sad happy turn of events we will be handing over the reigns to a new family."From Suburbia to The Lane it’s been an emotional journey full of ups and downs for me and my family. It’s been a massive part of my life.
To the new owners he wrote "Good luck John, Laura, James, and Michelle - I hope 7 shuttle street will be as special to you guys as it has to me." He said "The guys at SBA had a fresh and unfazed approach to selling my business. They completely understood how frustrating and personal a deal like this can be for the seller and made the process as easy as possible."
