A Batgirl extra from Glasgow was left with life-altering injuries following an incident on the set of the doomed film.
The woman underwent emergency surgery on her leg and required five blood transfusions to survive the ordeal."You specified the area you wanted to receive roles in so I just chose Glasgow because I wasn't willing to travel. Then I received an email about Batgirl and I accepted it. "They had to film a take of people on the pavement and a motorcycle was driving nearby. I didn't see what happened because I was supposed to react to the scene in front of me.
"After that I was in ICU because I almost died during the surgery due to the blood loss. After three days in ICU I had surgery on my tibial plateau. This year I had another surgery to remove the plate in the tibia because it was giving me some pain." "I can still go out with my friends but I am still in so much pain. I don't mention it often because I think people would get fed up with me complaining.
"Physically I'm not ok but mentally I'm not ok, I'm still not ok. I've done my best in the physio, I've started going to the gym again and swimming but recovery is a full-time job.
