They wanted to 'have a little fun'
Bosses at West End pub Chinaski's have decided to"have a little fun" during the competition in Qatar and have renamed the venue Sualdo.The decision comes as part of Scotland's absence from the international competition and the pub's desire to support somebody.aren’t in the World Cup, we just wanted to support somebody, and Spain felt like a good match., beer, wine, culture and most importantly their attitude.
The major change also stems not only from Fergus's love of Spain, but from a successful project ran by Chinaski's at the last World Cup. Fergus said: "During the last World Cup, we opened a pop-up called Sualdos, in the old Black Sparrow. "It was during the summer months, and we had lots of fun doing this, and ended up extended how long we ran it.The pub will be showing every World Cup game and will be serving a range of Spanish food and drink.Fergus added:"The World Cup is fun, so we hoped to create a fun atmosphere and enjoy the game."
