“This was an amazing experience, an amazing high school to go to,” Sancho said. “I love the coaching staff, my community, my teammates. This is a family. I’m never going to forget the time I had here.” The Red Hawks led by as many as 16 points with 3:31 left in the fourth quarter. The game was delayed for about 15 minutes as hail, which had fallen through the roof, was cleared from the floor.
“There were some times we did not box out,” Wagner coach Annissa Jackson said. “They are a big team. There were crucial times when we did not box out.”
