from Wednesday, Oct. 25, through Saturday, Oct. 28. Attendees can enjoy carnival rides, rodeo, a beer and wine garden, food, pig races, a lumberjack show, a petting zoo, local craft vendors, great music and more! The excitement awaits at the Williamson County Expo Center, 5350 Bill Pickett Trail in Taylor.
Enjoy the fun on the first night of the Fair and Rodeo with free gate admission for the whole family as part of Samsung Family Night on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Thursday, Oct. 26, is Central Texas Community Foundation Veterans Night with free admission for veterans, first responders and active military. An American Professional Rodeo Association rodeo will take place both Friday and Saturday nights, Oct. 28 and 29. Stick around for two great concerts after the rodeo! On Friday, enjoy Tejano Night featuring a tribute to the Queen of Tejano music, Selena, by singer Amanda Solis. A Lil Selena contest for children ages three through 10 will also take place that night. Attendees can enjoy music by Mariachi Del Toro and a performance by Round Rock Ballet Folklorico during Tejano Night.
On Saturday, Oct. 28, enjoy music by NBC’s The Voice contestant Noivas, followed by Memphis Kee and Mike and the Moonpies on the community stage. Then, to round out the yearlong celebration of the 175th birthday of Williamson County, you’ll want to dust off your boots and get “ready to raise your bottle” because Aaron Watson will be taking the main stage at 9 p.m.
New this year, a junior rodeo will take place during Family Night, Oct. 25. This is the first-ever junior rodeo in Williamson County. You can also enjoy a few new attractions like the SW Dairy Farmers Education mobile, Lil Plunkett's Circus and an Old West Comedy Gun Fight show.www.wilcofair.comThe Williamson County Fair and Rodeo is put on by the Williamson County Fair Association.
