We spoke to StarTrek actor Gia Sandhu about T'Pring's love for Spock and their ongoing relationship issues in StrangeNewWorlds season 2:

Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2, Episode 5 - "Charades"Gia Sandhu returns as T'Pring in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2, episode 5, "Charades," and she is caught in an elaborate ruse by her fiancée, Lt. Spock .

Screen Rant had the absolute pleasure to chat with Gia Sandhu about T'Pring's love for Spock, her own Vulcan rebelliousness, what would happen if Chapel and T'Pring had a face-to-face, and her thoughts on Spock's brother, Sybok. I also loved T'Pring's dad, and his whole routine of, "This is delicious! Oh, wait, no, I didn't realize it's not delicious." That killed me every time.

Gia Sandhu: I think she sees a side to Spock that maybe isn't as obvious to other people. I think that she sees probably a bit of herself in him, but that he actually has the permission in a way to explore more of that side. And by that I mean, his desire to be within Vulcan culture, but then also to be able to be a bit of an outsider to it.

Gia Sandhu: I think anyone that watches this probably has had that experience at some point in their life where they were left out of what was going on or kept in the dark about something. Especially that had to do with someone important in their life. It's just so relatable, and my heart really breaks for her in that moment. I think she has a real vulnerability that shows up when she says to Spock, "This is how this made me feel." And that's universal and that's relatable.

I would love to have to see a conversation between T'Pring and Chapel one day. We haven't seen that yet. And that would be really fascinating. You know, maybe they should just go into that new bar on the Enterprise and just hash stuff out. How do you think that would go?
