505 Games and One More Level have announced the release date for their first-person cyberpunk ninja action sequel, Ghostrunner 2.
The follow up to the surprise 2020 hit, Ghostrunner 2 promises some new twists to the previous game’s action parkour formula, not least the fact that now the game’s not just set around one building – you’ll get the chance to hop on a motorcycle and partake in some vehicular combat. The Brutal Edition will also include everything in the game’s Deluxe Edition – four additional hand skins, four extra sword skins, and a personalised hand hologram displaying their current username. However, the Brutal Edition will also give players the game’s Season Pass with a new game mode and four asset packs for no additional cost too. They’ll also get an animated skin and a motorcycle skin too.
Ghostrunner 2 continues the story of Jack, who spent the first game battling a rogue AI threat around Dharma Tower. They’re back in this sequel, which also promises a revamped character progression system so that returning veterans and newcomers alike will have a touch challenge to face.
