“My deepest condolences go to his family and loved ones. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their prayers and support.” There had been conflicting rumours concerning Atsu’s status and just days ago the Ghana FA issued an update on social media. It said on Twitter“We’ve received some positive news that Christian Atsu has been successfully rescued from the rubble of the collapsed building and is receiving treatment. Let’s continue to pray for Christian.”
