Black Mask Studios is joining forces with the WGA.
Screen Rant is excited to share an exclusive preview of General Strike, a comic anthology combining the work of all-star comic creators and WGA writers. This anthology will bring together stories about the hard work laborers are putting in while striving for economic equality. It features all-stars from the comic industry with the backing of publisher Black Mask Studios.
The anthology features cover art from Tyler Boss, Iolanda Zanfardino, Ben Templesmith, Ramon Villalobos, Creees Lee, Elisa Romboli, Amancay Nahuelpan, and Darick Robertson. The artists for the series include Antonio Fuso, Jamal Igle, Butch Mapa, Tyler Jenkins, and Josh Hood. Their work spans several series including Something is Killing the Children: House of Slaughter, BLACK, The Wrong Earth, Star Wars Adventures, Grass Kings, and We Can Never Go Home.
Calexit creators have long strived to use their comic for activism purposes, raising money for families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border, running voter registration campaigns at San Diego Comic-Con, supporting Indivisible's Get Out The Vote campaign, and donating to bail funds during the George Floyd protests, among other actions.
