Pop star-turned-West End performer Gareth Gates is to take on an underwater role as the famously grumpy octopus Squidward Q Tentacles in the touring stage version of the hit children's TV cartoon, Spongebob Squarepants.
Davina, who can sing in high soprano and four-octave range, was runner-up in the first series of Ru Paul's Drag Race UK and has gone on to forge a TV and singing career. Lewis Cornay will play the titular role.Spongebob's iconic pink sidekick Patrick Star will be portrayed by Irfan Damani and the cast also compromises Chrissie Bhima , Richard J Hunt , Sarah Freer Eloise Davies , Hannah Lowther and Rebecca Lisewski .
