After the completely non-scary Resident Evil Village I think something a bit more horror focused would be a good idea. A new type of monster would be a good idea too. I like the readers’ recent suggest of Lovecraftian creatures, but I’m not sure Capcom would ever go that far. But if Village was inspired by classic Universal monsters, then the next one needs to have a new theme too.
