Christophe Galtier has left Nice ahead of his expected move to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Nice confirmed on Monday that Lucien Favre had returned to the club as Galtier’s replacement four years after leaving the Allianz Riviera.
Announcing his departure, Nice said: “Christophe Galtier is no longer in charge of the first team at OGC Nice. PSG’s Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid in the last-16 stage is one of the factors which will cost Pochettino his job. Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi launched a major review this summer which led to the dismissal of sporting director Leonardo.
