Sustainability has always been core to Gabriela Hearst's business. Yesterday she took it one step further staging the first ever carbon neutral fashion show. She tasked show producer Bureau Betak with minimizing transportation, energy usage, and waste, then worked with the climate change advisory firm EcoAct to determine the offset amounts necessary to balance her carbon footprint. That money will be donated to Hifadhi-Livelihoods Project in Embu and Tharaka Nithi Counties of Kenya.
