Furiosa star Anya Taylor-Joy recently teased a very bloody Mad Max prequel movie. George Miller returns to direct the fifth entry in the Mad Max franchise, a spinoff of the critically-acclaimed post-apocalyptic non-stop action film, Mad Max: Fury Road. Taylor-Joy stars as the titular character, Immortan Joe's one-armed war captain, previously played by Charlize Theron.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In a recent interview with IndieWire, Taylor-Joy teased that the Mad Max prequel, Furiosa, will be brutal. The actor claimed that filming the movie left her the "bloodiest" she has ever been on any set in her career, a feat she is rather proud of. Read what Taylor-Joy said below:
“It’s the dirtiest and the bloodiest I have ever been, which is saying something, genuinely saying something. Any time I get to be dirty or bloody and not perfectly prim and pretty, I’m just having a ball, that’s where I feel most comfortable.
