Some in Notts will be opened
Dozens of Wilko stores are set to re-open under a different name, including three in Nottinghamshire. Thousands of people lost their jobs as the high street giant, which was headquartered in Notts, collapsed into administration.
But now, some sites are set to be turned into Poundland shops, with former Wilko workers given priority for the new jobs that will be created, Bristol Live reports. Ten stores have reopened this weekend, including ones in London, Manchester and Staffordshire. But now Poundland owner Pepco has confirmed more stores that will welcome back customers - including one in Bristol. Below is a full list of branches set to reopen as Poundland retailers in the coming months:
