The Bergen County man allegedly broke loose from a handcuff bar in police headquarters, according to authorities.
at the Palisades Park police headquarters last week was arrested Sunday in Rhode Island, authorities said.
Estrada-Garcia, 24, of Cliffside Park, was being held in Rhode Island ahead of an extradition hearing to return him to New Jersey, the spokesman said in a statement.
