A man in his 20s suffered head injuries following the attack on The Strand and remains in hospital
Lancashire Police have released a new CCTV image as part of an appeal following an assault near Blackpool Popworld.
Officers said a man in his 20s suffered head injuries in the attack on The Strand in the early hours of Tuesday . The victim remains in hospital with serious injuries. Yesterday the force released CCTV images of a man they wanted to speak to following the assault. They have now obtained a further image of the man and are asking anyone who recognises him to contact police.In a statement issued this morning , a force spokesperson said: "Yesterday, Lancashire Police asked for your help in identifying a man we wanted to speak to in connection with a serious assault in The Strand, Blackpool.
"If you are the person in the image, we ask that you come forward to speak to our officers. We were called at approximately 2am on Tuesday, August 15, to a report of an assault in The Strand, near to Popworld. "A man in his 20s suffered head injuries and remains in hospital. Please contact 101, quoting log 0115 of August 15, 2023."
